Couldn’t connect with the airport shuttle on the way in, but the office staff went out of their way to make sure we were able to get a taxi to the docks on a busy busy cruise in port day.

There is absolutely nothing unique about this property whatsoever. There is no in-room coffee maker, no continental breakfast, very RARELY is the front desk staffed, the window coverings in the rooms are in dire need of replacing, housekeeping is by request only and then only if the message gets passed on. The only upside to the Baranof Lodge is that it is easy walking distance to downtown, the shops and restaurants. Oh, and the airport shuttle is appreciated. We paid a hefty amount for a 5-night stay at this hotel with almost nothing in the way of amenities! I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone! ☹️

Room was clean and check in was fine. No coffee or cups in the room. Hot cold switched in bathroom sink and the tub filled with water while showering. Seems to be going backwards as I’ve stayed here multiple times. The Expedia site says all fees covered in the price, that is not the case. Was charged a fee on check in. Had to add a night on top of the 4 days I was there and was charged 70.00 over the Expedia price… hope the new owners get it together.
