The room was spacious and clean. The common areas were nice and clean and well kept. The pool was lovely. There is a restaurant on site and all the food I tried was very good. All the staff are extremely helpful, kind, and professional. The hotel is on the far end of town so it’s very quiet and private, yet you’re only 50 feet from the beach. It was a pleasant day and I would go again.

I love this quaint little hotel on the perimeter of El Paredon. Great pool, friendly staff and 2 minute walk to the Pacific Ocean and beach. You must try the ceviche. The rooms are ok and note the shower isn’t hot but the temperature was 31 Celsius so it was ok. The vibe is welcoming here and you’re a short walk into town.
This ceviche is very good.
The breakfast is delicious.
Coffee with a view.
Drink by the pool. Por que non ?

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The entire place was spotless, very clean, and well-maintained. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Valentina, the manager, was extremely kind and attentive, and the rest of the staff were just as friendly and welcoming. Their excellent service truly made me feel at home. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back!

I had a great stay at the Gecko it was nice to be outside the main center for some quiet and the cocktails were excellent. The team arranged my taxi transfer to the airport so it was easy exit.

Simple and clean. Good food and drinks. Super close to the ocean. If you’re going to El Paredon this is a good choice. No hot showers but it’s pretty hot outside all the time anyway. This place is a gem.

Great for a family.

Nice place to spend time with the family. Clean and good pool. It would be great to get Coen towels every day, perhaps we should have asked. Food and drinks are ok. We ended up going elsewhere for breakfast most mornings. We ended up buying a lot of bottled water everywhere in El Paredon, it would be great if they have waterfilters you can fill your bottle up with, like we saw in most places in Guatemala. The accommodation was good, comfortable beds, lots of fans as there is no airco, spacious.

The room was quite nice but they really need to wash the floor rugs.The communication with the front staff was pretty much nil. They don’t speak any English. There was no hot water at all in the shower no matter what time of day. Maybe solar panels or hot water tanks? The pool is lovely. It is right by the beach and that is awesome! It is also within walking distance to the town. Overall, not bad. The pool is a huge bonus!

A perfect little spot for our two day getaway. Ac worked perfectly, the staff was friendly, the pool the perfect little spot to cool down and the beda confy (pillows a bit stiff for my taste, but survived). I liked the convenience of orsering drinks and breakfast from there and then we'd walk to town for lunch and dinner. Maybe a 10 minute walk on the beach from Cocori. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely spot for a surf getaway. Steps from the beach but a couple hundred meters down from the party/hang/party at the surf clubs. Nice staff, convenient kitchen and bar service, chill pool - peaceful and serene.

A very nice small cozy hotel with a great tasting hamburger on the menu. This is very close to the busy streets in El Paredon but with enough distance to be quiet and avoid the noise and business. It's just a few meters away from the beach, which is awesome.
