They're trying really hard to make a nice property, but the pool and spa were both closed, the cleaning materials used in the public areas made me unwell, and I couldn't get sleep my last night due to the stuffiness of the room and feral children running in the hallway. There's a good beginning here but they have a way to go.

Good value, but the pool was broken, AC was extremely loud, beds were nice, bathroom was very dated, cleanliness was above average, breakfast was average or below, there was very loud and disruptive tenants in a nearby room, and halls smelled of marijuana. We booked a stay for two nights, mostly due to the pool. Upon check-in, we were informed that the pool has been closed for over a week. We get to our room and it reeks of humid musty air. Like the basement of a very old home. The drain in the sink Was clogged and black hairs came up out of the drain. There was mold on the ceiling and in the AC unit. The electrical outlet underneath the table was hanging by the wires. The bed, however, it was very comfortable, and the sheets were very clean. We did not stay the second night and it’s been five days and I’m still waiting for my refund that I was told I would get.

Check in was quick and easy, however our room was not that great. The floor felt as if it was soaked and just left sticky, there was heavy mildew smell in the bathroom, and the window was absolutely filthy. The morning we had checked out we had found a yogurt container in their breakfast area that had mold on it.

The Dakota is badly in need of renovation. The hall floors were filthy. There was no drain plug for the sink and the one for the tub was not attached. The wood on bathroom door was coming apart in several places. There was no iron and ironing board and there was no coffee pot in the room. When checking in, the staff person had her child there and she could not get any of my information spelled correctly, so check-in took way longer than it should have. And the parking lot needs to be repaved. I heard people outside of my room cursing profanities and I didn’t feel safe. I left as early as I could.

Need to do proper maintenence. Toilet flush not working proper and washroom water not drain its take forever to drain water. Ac filter smell bed. My friend room dont even have freeze and his washrrom clogged so he has to go didferent room to take shower which they help to give another room just for shower but that should not be happen. Staffe is helpful but they need to update or make room work proper

When I arrived the 2 front desk attendants were arguing about what the other should be doing and then I was finally helped buy someone who I can only assume was new bc he kept saying I don’t know how to do things. If I’m paying over $150 a night I should be comfortable in the room. There was trash left in the room from someone else, there were bugs everywhere, what looked like blood stains on the floor. When I was there it was super hot however there was a heat warning so that might have contributed to it. There was a family there but their kids were sleeping in the lobby and running around outside. It was just not a great experience.
