We were actually moved to the sister hoter Chateau de la fooz as the other hotel was closed. This was no issue for us. This was fine but there was no one to greet us at check in despite ringing the bell. We found a card with a list of booking with our name and checked ourselves in. The restaurant is closed on mondays and tuesdays but we got a recomendation of a restaurant about 10 minutes away which was great and we appreciated this. The room was very recently renovated and very lovely - a couple of things to mention. 1. no towel rail by sink for hand towel 2. no garbage can in room (only in bathroom) 3. no mirror in room The place is just gorgeous and the owner was very nice and gave us a complimentary glass of bubbles and a little about the history of this former convent. The complimentary breakfast was very good with a great selection HIghly recommend!!

Not great

The plus sides were that the breakfast was really nice and the chateau itself was great for photos. The service was a bit absent, and the room we stayed in really needs an overhaul. The curtains didn’t cover the windows and the bathroom was very tired and only had a bath, despite being a very large room and would easily fit a nice size shower cubicle.

Absolutely horrendous- the room was freezing, had a horrible smell and had maggots in the sink. The room itself was extremely unclean and the staff did not care for our complaints. Definitely do not recommend.

Uitermate vriendelijk personeel op een een prachtige locatie. De kamer zelf in het bijgebouw was schoon maar karig,iets meer kledinghangers in de kast was prettig geweest evenals een tafeltje op de kamer waar je nog wat spullen op kan zetten i.p.v. alles op de grond te moeten leggen.

Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam, we vroegen door omstandigheden voor een andere kamer en dit was geen probleem om te wisselen. Het diner en ontbijt waren heel goed en lekker. De tuinen en kamers zijn gedateerd, wat wel jammer is, want het is een heel mooi domein, maar de kamer was wel proper, 1 lamp in de badkamer werkte niet, maar we konden ons behelpen. Wat ook jammer is en niet duidelijk als je boekt, is dat je niet in het kasteel zelf maar aan de overkant van de straat in een rijtjeshuis logeerd. Misschien wel fijn om te vermelden zodat de mensen dat weten. De kamer was ook heel gehorig waardoor we heel de nacht hinder hebben gehad van muziek en gepraat.

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous, even better than the pictures. The room was spacious with a beautiful view and plenty of outdoor seating. The staff were extremely friendly. The food at the in house restaurant was also some of the best I've ever had. I would highly recommend and would stay here again.

We hebben heerlijke 3 dagen gehad. Kwamen met de fiets uit Maastricht. Kregen ook nog een extra grote kamer omdat er weinig bezetting was. Kan geen minpuntje bedenken!👍

Leider waren die WĂ€nde im Bad und Schlafzimmer feucht und im Schlafzimmer der Kinder war Schimmel am Boden und an der Wand. Dieser war dem EigentĂŒmer und Personal bekannt. Die Umgebung war sehr schön, ebenso das FrĂŒhstĂŒck.
