“A lovely, quirky place to stay! Really convenient for Ghent centre, with parking and EV charging. We were in the Captain’s cabin which was great for the three of us. Breakfast was very nice too. Only improvement would have been the shower room. The drain couldn’t keep up with the shower which meant you had to paddle about for a good while after anyone had a shower (the toilet was in there too!). Condensation issues in there led to a bit of mould too on the walls. Decor everywhere else was...

“The description of the location for this hotel needs to be more specific. Unfortunately we didn’t do our geography homework thoroughly enough😤. This hotel is primarily for business users NOT tourists. It is on a business park on the outskirts of the city with NO public transport less than a 20 minute walk away. Taxi fares added expenses. No restaurant facility for evening meals.”

I was really sad that I had to check-out one night before intended cause I got my flight rescheduled but they have an express checkout so when I left it was easy to leave they card on the desk”

“Unique, characterful and outstandingly beautiful chateau with immaculately maintained parkland grounds. Our room in the old stables had been recently renovated to the highest standard and with attention given to every detail. This is the sort of place that you always hope to discover but rarely do. Even the local town is only a ten minute walk away. Eat at Basile, yet another revelation. We only wished we were staying for longer.”
