This hotel is tucked away in the central city corner a bit of walk to Orchard road which can be not too pleasant on a hot sunny humid day but good for the body. They do have a shuttle bus to MRT station. Spacious room! Toilet very bright and clean, just only one hook to hang extremely heavy bath towels... Excellent choices for breakfast coffee is a bit bland, but they have this Melaka coffee capsule in room that is delicious! Only if they have a proper gym that would make it perfect!! Decent size pool very relaxing! Best for single or couple travellers.

I was there just for one short overnight stay, but I was really impressed with the hotel. Very comfortable, very clean and the staff were great. And the breakfast was excellent! You can order from an "ala carte buffet" menu which is kind of interesting, and all the items I ordered -- from typical Western bakery items and egg dishes to spicy Laksa -- were outstanding. Definitely consider this property when choosing a hotel in the area!

This is a quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle of downtown: a short walk from orchard rd it’s handy for all the major shopping areas. We ended up spending most of our time nr marina bay so was around 20-30cab in busier times. This standard is not quite the London or NYC level, but the staff are lovely! (Std) rooms are adequate. Restaurant and pool area great for breakfast and a relax. We had a good time - thank you.

It’s a beautiful property! Staffs are friendly. Sukra who works in the restaurant was so nice and sweet. He made my dining experience more comfortable. As for the hotel, it’s beautiful and we will book here again if we come back to Singapore

Loved my stay at The Standard in Singapore. Location is great - on a more peaceful road near to the bustling Orchard Road. Spacious and functional room with a huge, comfortable bed and great view. Cool lobby and general aesthetic throughout. Only “downsides” were no safe in the room and restaurant/bar service stopped at 11pm.

I stayed at The Standard with my son who is 10. Very cozy and fashionable hotel with lovely staff who are very welcoming and nice. Their hospitality was great. They held onto our luggage after we checked out (the flight was at 11pm) so we could explore the city and go shopping during the day. They also let us stay at the lounge for a couple of hours before heading to the airport. It’s a bit of a walk from Orchard Road (about 10 mins.) to the hotel, but because it’s away from the busy street, it’s pleasant and quiet throughout the day. The food (breakfast and lunch) was good. The swimming pool was very clean. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay and highly recommend it to couples or families with older kids.

Absolutely loved The Standard in Singapore. Location is great and the propert is impeccable. The pool is such a tranquil spot - long for laps and swim up bar is a nice touch. Although the rooms were small- which I knew when I booked- the design The Standard is know for shines through in the private spaces. Loved the whole room set up and didn’t feel lack at all. The ONLY improvement I would suggest is providing a more hefty/stable pillow. The pillows were too soft:-)

Cool property about 15 min walk to Orchard Rd. Quiet area. Nice pool area, very different to other The Standards though. No gym, no spa, no steam room etc. I am uncertain who this hotel is pitched out. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

New hotel with great service! The staff is attentive to assist where they could do so. For instance, we asked for tip to where to have traditional breakfast and the staff sent a complied list of places we could go in the neighborhood. The property is new and located in a nice, quiet neighborhood yet it's 15 minutes walk from the buzzeling of Orchard Road. Would recommend this place to stay and recharged!
