Staff and location are absolutely amazing. Hotel itself is unusual being in an old heritage building that adds to the experience. The deluxe room is super comfortable, spacious and clean. Stayed off the Main Street side and was super quiet. Be sure to use the gym and pool amenities of their sister hotel called the Clan. A stunning space and great views.

The charm and person service of a boutique hotel with the facilities of the Clan Hotel next door. One of the best, most friendly staffs we have ever dealt with, always doing everything possible to make us comfortable and well cared for. The location is perfect, on the edge of Chinatown across the street from the fast, efficient metro. We have a new favorite hotel to send our friends to and, fingers crossed, return to someday.

Excellent hotel. Quaint historic temple. Staff was so friendly. The only thing I didn’t care for was the bar next to the reception played incredibly loud music. Even when I was checking in, it was hard to hear the reception. I went and had a beer there the next night and found it too hard to even speak when someone called me on the phone. It’s a tiny place. There’s no need for the music to be that loud. Otherwise, the place was amazing.

Excellent location and quality of the hotel and staff. Each room is wonderfully unique in this property carved from a historic building. Breakfast is at a little cafe within the building complex, but is a menu of limited items instead of a buffet. The Amoy is sister hotel to the Clan immediately next door which has an infinity pool and gym, available for use by Amoy guests, and showers that can be used after checkout from the hotel, useful for late flights.
