The charm and person service of a boutique hotel with the facilities of the Clan Hotel next door. One of the best, most friendly staffs we have ever dealt with, always doing everything possible to make us comfortable and well cared for. The location is perfect, on the edge of Chinatown across the street from the fast, efficient metro. We have a new favorite hotel to send our friends to and, fingers crossed, return to someday.

Overall, a wonderful stay at Amoy. The staff were so welcoming and really went the extra mile to make sure my first time in Singapore was perfect. Plus, you can't beat the location; it’s close to almost everything. I’d definitely recommend this gem!

Lovely compact room that was perfect for me. Great aircon, very modern with a good sized shower. Staff was friendly and showed me to my room upon arrival. The included breakfast at an adjacent restaurant was good. Overall very good value for money

Excellent location and quality of the hotel and staff. Each room is wonderfully unique in this property carved from a historic building. Breakfast is at a little cafe within the building complex, but is a menu of limited items instead of a buffet. The Amoy is sister hotel to the Clan immediately next door which has an infinity pool and gym, available for use by Amoy guests, and showers that can be used after checkout from the hotel, useful for late flights.

Great location

The hotel is in a great location and walking distance to a number of the major tourist destinations, and has an MRT station on the doorstep. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The building is historic and very interesting. The only downside for us was the number of levels (a.k.a. steps) in the building as we are an older couple.

Kudos to the excellent service level of the staff. Their hospitality makes one feel very welcome and comfortable. It should be noted that the property is integrated into an old Chinese building. The resulting inclined slopes and stairs within the walkway suggest that it may not be so suitable for elderly. Additionally, my room faced a nightlife area and the noise may impact more sensitive guests. Nevertheless, the service level of the staff was enough for me to still consider it an incredible stay.
