We liked hotel location, however the 1st night we had a view over the back /trash area. Noisy early morning + bathroom functionality/shower was bad. 2nd night we asked to be moved so we had a view of the street with a balcony. Bathroom was better as well. Over all, 2nd night was better, however the inconvenience of packing and morning to a different room was not addressed by the staff. We would have liked for them to offer asap another room when we addressed the circumstances or better yet for them to consider we came a long way from California, so they could have given us one of their new renovated rooms. So, yes it was an inconvenience from the start that was not addressed or compensate for. Unfortunately! This was our 2nd time starting at hotel Sinaia, however we may consider other options next visit to Romania. Thank you.

This is a big hotel so has more facilities than others eg restaurants and sauna etc. Breakfast buffet was extensive and good quality. My room was a refurbished one and it was well laid out and comfortable.

Nice hotel in the renovated sections

Some of the hotel is nicely renovated and very comfortable and well done. Unfortunately, our first night we arrived late afternoon and we were in an old dated room with a possessed shower head. The next morning they were able to move us to one of the nicely renovated rooms. Breakfast is a mob scene, best to arrive early. Overall, breaksfast selection was broad.

Two star hotel at best.

The bedding is not what you expect from a four star hotel. Mattresses are hard and old, pillows are old and compacted, sheets are not changed daily. Breakfast is very poor quality: margarine instead of butter, Sugary powder drinks instead of fresh juices, tasteless coked food. This extends to the two restaurants. Dry meat, horrible salads, poor guality ingredients.

Big renovated hotel just in the center of Sinaia. Very convenient and central location close to the park, ice skating, mini mall, 2 supermarkets, restaurants. Lots of food options, convenient even when it's raining and cold outside. Very good spa, don't forget to make a reservation (no charge). Very nice design in the hotel, spacious and modern atmosphere. Good elevators, never waited for more than a minute. Good and friendly service at the reception area, restaurants, and spa. Not all the rooms have balconies! If you need one, make sure you order the right kind of room. On the downsize, we were looking for more available tourists oriented printed information which was missing - regarding the surroundings, and sights to see and places to go.

No more then average - with bad attitude.

We stayed in 4 rooms in the hotel and found the hotel review very misleading. The hotel was nice - no more - the rooms are spacious but in desperate need of maintenance - in our room the TV did not work, the shower shelves were broken and the seal around the bath was leaking, the other rooms in our group had a broken AC, broken closet etc. Housekeeping was very kind and service oriented but reception was horrible, as the lady behind the desk was unpleasant\hostile and we did our best to avoid asking anything of her - not the place you want to be on your vacation.

Great Breakfast Nice clean rooms Pool side was very uncomfortable and small, between 4-6pm is only families and the require an appointment for less crowding but it seems at 4-6 everyone is there with children. Everyone is rude and unhappy in this town. The massage was amazing that is all. Not worth the money

I booked the "Standard Twin Room Without Balcony". When we checked in, we were given a room that looked quite old and not on par with what the hotel advertises -- it looked nothing like the photo they have in the listing. The carpet was stained in multiple places, the bathroom had no ventilation, old bathtub and overall "old" feeling. We were charged extra to be moved to the newly renovated side of the hotel which is in good shape and does look like advertised. That wasn't nice at all. The spa is nice, and the breakfast buffet has a variety of foods, desserts and drinks. The overall experience was good, but the bait and switch part was not.

Die Rezeption und der Speisesaal waren renoviert und in Topzustand. Leider sind die Zimmer renovierungsbefürftig. Die Klimaanlage war defekt, gab nach einer gewissen Zeit laute Geräusche von sich, nach Ausschalten tropfte sie. Unsere Tochter hat sich sehr auf den Pool gefreut, leider war er in den zwei Tagen in denen wir da waren geschlossen, was sehr enttäuschend war.

Sehr freundliches, hilfbereites Personal. Das Frühstücksbuffet war mehr als ausreichend und sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein. Was mir überphaupt nicht gefallen hat, war, dass die Reinigungsdamen sich lange auf dem Balkon unterhalten und geraucht haben...und das jeden Morgen...Trotzdem 4 Sterne gegeben, da die Massage im SPA-Bereich wunderbar war.
