Oceanfront king room. Gorgeous view right on the beach. Loved going to sleep hearing the waves. Comfortable room. Beach is amazing. It does drop off quickly though not a gradual incline in the water. Good food at their restaurant, and service at the lounge chairs. Will return.

We had a wonderful stay at Mary's Boon. The lush landscaping and all the natural beauty on property made it feel like we were in a tropical forest, while being right next to the landing strip and getting to watch planes take off and land. The bar and restaurant being on property were so helpful to have and the staff was friendly & kind. Really can't complain and would gladly go back.

Staff was extremely welcoming, we had a toddler and a puppy and we got in very late. Security was waiting for us and helped us to our room. The staff was wonderful with my overtired toddler and showed him how to feed the fish and helped us with the puppy. Having pool toys there was a huge bonus as was having the puppy in the bar so we could eat.

This place did not disappoint! We stayed in the jr renovated suite and it was quick walkway to the beach. The beach was gorgeous and next to a few beach clubs. The restaurant had amazing food and great happy hour options. Pool, towels and bikes to used and now far from the main road to get any items. Think the offer airport shuttle but we didn’t use it. My only disappointment would be I didnt bring my speaker cause I thought there would be music playing all day. The dogs and cats are supers sweet here but many dog owners around the beach area tend to leave the poop out. The restaurant automatically put tip, would rather know this better over tipping. Regardless would come back if solo or with hubby but not with kids as there’s other places for that here.

The bathroom shower had hair on the wall tiles and floors were clearly not cleaned prior to us getting our room. The rooms are so dated, cracked tiles and old bedding and furniture. Time for an update! Staff is friendly and a great location.

5th time in St Maarten and this is the best place we’ve stayed. Great area right on Simpson Bay Beach and near many great restaurants, including their own dining. The Boon has a great down to earth feel and my wife and I came to think of their animals as our own pets while we were there. Super clean and staff is so friendly! We’ll 100% stay here again.

this was a fun little local hotel and restaurant it was nice cause it wasn’t a big corporate, but it was quirky and fun right on the beach. we just needed a place to sleep before flying out so we didn’t have an ocean view, if you want ocean view request one of the bungalows on the beach. fun bar with a DJ great drinks restaurant was good!

It’s quirky, but a good value. Most of staff seemed unhappy. Food was very good. Construction at a standstill. Bikes were great to have to get some provisions on welfare Ed. $7 for a bottle of water at property, and they advise not to drink the tap water. It’s a 3 star hotel, so don’t expect the Ritz.

The highlight of this hotel is the location. Simpson bay is one of the nicest and most beautiful beaches in the island. Other than that the hotel needs love and care. Maintenance is poor and cleanliness is below mediocre.
