The Algar is central to all the local bars, shops and restaurants. The apartments are basic and would benefit from updating but clean and provide a good base. We always chose a balcony view which allows us to eat and drink as we like if we don’t want to eat out, and certainly makes up for any basic amenities. Staff are always friendly and have been there many years .

Staff was very friendly and helpful,recommend!

Wifi was not catching everywhere. There was a small kitchen, big room, not many plugs to charge the phone. Room was clean.
