I think the main thing to know about this hotel is that it seems pretty old. It’s kind of at the point where fresh paint can’t cover up the dinginess. There is no elevator. That being said, the front desk staff was helpful and friendly, and the bed was comfy and the sheets were clean.

The room i stayed in was filthy for a hotel room. I got the floor wet with water and wiped up a towel and it came out brown n dirty, there was a couple clumps of black hair on the floor near the bed and I found what I think was pieces of dry skin or maybe cuts of toenails in the actual bed. Sheets were put on inside out. Not impressive. Staff was friendly. The property itself is real small and you can hear everything in the rooms. I would bot recommend this hotel. Sorry!!

No elevator, three floors. Unable to get a ground floor room on arrival. I am 80 with spinal stenosis so it was a challenge even with a second floor room. Bad on me not to have asked when booking. Staff was very helpful, the room was clean and nice. Heat / cooling worked well. Breakfast was above average.

Great location (I was in town for an outrigger regatta) and pleasantly surprised at all the aspects: super clean, great bed, fluffy pillows, thick towels. Also happy to see the full breakfast in the morning: scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, pastries, coffee, tea. Tiny downside: no elevator, so first floor rooms are reserved for disabled travelers only. But: receptionist said an elevator would be installed this summer. Again, small flaw and if I can’t walk up two flights of stairs, then I’ve got no business in an outrigger race, LOL.

The staff member at the front desk who was present for both our check-in and check-out wasn't well suited to her work; her voice was sufficiently soft as to be nearly unintelligible. Further, she insisted on making photocopies of both my drivers license and my wife's even though we had already paid for the room through Expedia. The property itself is fine and the room seemed clean. There was a pretty strong smell of disinfectant in the room and hallway. We've stayed here twice because it's a reasonable value in a good location, but I wish it was a little cheaper for what it is.

I was disappointed with my stay overall. While the bedding was clean, the room looked quite different from the photographs online and felt very outdated. There was a strong, unusual perfumed smell as soon as we entered the room. The breakfast was also disappointing, with the waffle maker and toaster not working, and the bacon being burnt. The light in the breakfast area was also flickering, which made the area feel poorly maintained. The bed was particularly uncomfortable as it was noticeably sinking in the middle, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. There were also some safety concerns with the electronic key card/door lock. We had to push and jam the door closed to make sure it was properly locked, which did not feel secure. The room was quite noisy as well, particularly when other guests were walking and talking outside the door. Overall, although the bedding itself was clean, the condition of the room and several aspects of the stay did not meet my expectations based on the photographs and the price. I hope the hotel considers updating the rooms, replacing uncomfortable mattresses, addressing the door-locking issue, and improving the breakfast experience.
