The staff was friendly,hospitable and very informative about the area and Sri Lanka in general. The delicious breakfast (continental with a Sri Lankan twist) was served overlooking the well maintained gardens with lots of birdlife and animals in the trees.

My friend and I spent a night here and we got to meet the owner, who lives in London. We were treated very well and the staff was very accommodating and took great care of us. The room was comfortable as well. It is located in a very remote area, but there are some restaurants within walking distance and it is very close to Sigiriya Rock.

Ruchira was the perfect host, and the rest of the staff is the kindest as well. Super helpful. The room was very clean and spacious. There were the most beautiful rice fields in the back with 2 kinds of monkeys, peacocks, parrots, even elephants at times. The hotel arranges cheap private tours of the nearby attractions - just let them know what you want to visit and one of their skilled drivers will take you there. Breakfast was delicious and very filling. Nice to try local food, and the hosts explained in detail what everything was. Located in the center of Sigiriya’s tourist attractions and restaurants. Would stay there again again due to the staff and nature. Much better than the others places I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka

Great stay, totally recommend!

We stayed here for 2 nights and the staff was so sweet and they were so helpful. The breakfast was delicious and had very big portions (a mix between local and western). They were quick to help us with umbrellas, and lights, and to organize travel/tours.

The staff were all very helpful, and we felt very welcome. They organise a safari trip and went out of their way to help. Breakfast was amazing The hotel was undergoing some minor restoration but this did not interfere with our stay.

Hotel was close to Sigiriya Rock, the main reason for me to stay at the hotel. Fairly good for a night stay with decent breakfast of our choice. Staff very helpful and kind. Did not provide driver accommodation, as mentioned on the website and had to pay for it, which I was not happy with. Overall an average place to stay overnight for visiting the Rock.
