Although the fortifications in Signaghi do still almost completely encircle the city, you can only actually walk along a small section of the walls. If you have a head for heights and good balance, you can climb to the top of one of the towers for views like these. Cities near Sighnaghi

Half way between Telavi and Sighnaghi, 2 km South of Gurjaani is the church Kvelatsminda - an absolute "must see", if you pass by. The church was built in the 8th/9th century and features a long structure building topped by two domes. The interior is already a clear 3-hall basilica and the height is impressive! In Gurjaani you drive up-hill for 2km then park the car and walk down-hill for approx. 300m.

Walk by Georgian-Azerbaijan boder in David Gareji is great. We've been there at the end of May, as we've been warned it's the most rainy season in this region. There was a rain but it didn't change how epic this place was.
