We were in Siena for a short visit. The location right behind the Duomo was absolutely perfect! The apartment was extremely spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly and so helpful. Breakfast was a nice touch. We enjoyed our stay!

You could not ask for a better location! Beautiful large room, overlooking the piazza. Quiet and well services…. The pillows are only ok but everything else is outstanding!!

Great location, next to the Duomo. Gorgeous rooms and very nice hosts. Only downside is that you hear all the noises coming from the street at night. So, if you have a hard time sleeping with noise, this might not be a good option. Other than that, highly recommended!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Il Battistero Siena, and it was indeed a remarkable experience. The historic charm of this residenza d’epoca, paired with modern comforts, made for a unique and unforgettable stay. The rooms are beautifully decorated, capturing the essence of Siena while providing all the conveniences one could hope for. The staff was exceptionally warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations for local dining and sightseeing. Their hospitality made us feel like we were truly part of the city’s rich heritage. Breakfast was delightful, with fresh pastries, fruits, and quality coffee, all enjoyed in a charming atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place that combines luxury with authentic Tuscan character, Il Battistero Siena is it. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siena.

This hotel is right outside the back of the church. A Pope once lived in it back in the 16th century. What is great is the location & convenience. There is a little noise from all the tourists walking buy, but not an issue when sleeping at night. It‘s a tiny place - i think it has 7 rooms, so don‘t expect much selection for breakfast. Sienna is beautiful and I will definitely stay here the next time I am in town.

The location is excellent, across a very small piazza from the steps of the Baptistery; essentially, it's behind the Duomo. Everything we wanted to see was in easy walking distance. From the window of our room (#4) we could see Basilica San Domenico in the distance. Staff was extremely helpful. Breakfast was good. The room was clean, and the air conditioning worked well (important as temperatures were in the 80s). My only complaint--a small one--is that the shower in our room was an odd glass box at the foot of the bed; perfectly functional, and I suppose it had to go somewhere in a room that was otherwise hundreds of years old. Not really a problem so much as a quirk. We loved our stay, and would stay at Il Battistero again.
