We had a wonderful stay at the Apsara over a total of 5 nights. The location is excellent to explore Siem Reap, hotel food is very good and the rooms are immaculate. But the real stars are the staff - every single person was friendly, professional and always willing to help, with a smile. Highly recommended. We will be back!

Excellent friendly & delightful staff at reception and restaurant. Relaxing vibe in common areas. Good recommendations for value places to eat - both in town or just minutes from hotel. Short walk to town, markets, dinner, drinks etc so no need for a tuk tuk. Hotel is on the other side of river from Pub Street so it doesn’t have the loud noise. There is also a small pool to refresh in. We had an upstairs room above pool which had good privacy. No elevator here so anyone with stair issues would need a ground floor room. I would prefer brighter lighting in main bedroom area. Damnak mart (like 7Eleven) a few minutes away for most things you may need. We had a great stay for 6nights last month and would recommend Apsara Residence. The staff really helped to make this a welcoming and friendly experience.

This place was in a good location, about 10 minute walk from Pub Street, the night market, etc. I had a couple issues with broken things in the room (shower head not working, toilet leaking), but at least the hotel staff were understanding in attempting to fix things quickly. I was glad to be on the first floor, as there's no elevator here.

Money stolen from room, please avoid this hotel. We stayed at the Apsara Residence Hotel in Siem Reap for 5 nights in February 2025 and were extremely disappointed both to have money stolen from the safe in our room and also with the poor response we received from Hotel Management when we reported this loss. We reported the $100 dollar theft to the Hotel Management and were brushed off with a very inadequate response despite several attempts to pursue this matter. Management simply refused to acknowledge the money could have been taken and did not seem to properly investigate what had happened. Our remaining days at the Hotel were spoiled by this invasion of our privacy and our consequent lack of confidence in the security of our possessions. I have no doubt the management will reply to this review stating the theft being impossible, but nevertheless we wish to alert future guests to the need to be very wary of this venue so they can avoid the treatment we were unfortunate to have experienced. Hotel management promised to follow up this matter after we left but, unsurprisingly, we have heard nothing from them. The only matter that bothered the manager we spoke to was the prospect of a negative review. We strongly suggest people look elsewhere for accommodation.

This is our second stay here and we recommend it to anyone who is coming to Siem Reap. The staff is wonderful; so helpful with anything you need. They're happy to help with transportation, tour suggestions, & entertainment suggestions. The breakfast is extensive. We didn't use the spa, but I know someone who has and they enjoyed it a lot and the price is very reasonable.

I really had an amazing time at the hotel. It's really well located as it is surrounded by restaurants, the market, shops and very close to the river. I stayed for a week at the hotel and I have to say that the staff is the nicest you could imagine, they are very attentive and educated as they try to make you feel like home. Since the very beginning of your stay they greed you always with a smile. The rooms are clean and spacious. I will definitely return to the Apsara on my next trip to Siem Reap.

The staff are great and very obliging. The building is a little old but everything worked - our refrigerator had to be replaced but that was done quickly. The noise from the cafe next door was a problem for my wife but I didn’t hear it. So close to the river and stuff in the near area.
