Quiet room (separate to pub) with comfortable beds. We dont like full, hot breakfasts so it was nice not to have to pay for it. The cereal/fruit /toast/ pastries were ideal for us.
The food in the pub was nice, probably not worth the price but that's fine as a one-off. The pub was attractive and cosy. All staff were lovely and very helpful. Note - free toiletries are available at the bar, not in the room.
The only things I didnt like were the stag head looming over our breakfast area and the picture of men 'enjoying' dog fighting in a stable.

Easy parking. Staff ranged from distracted to very friendly. Room worn and marked. Basic no thrills accommodation
The Burlton Inn was excellent for our needs, being halfway home from Southampton to our home for an overnight stop. The pub itself was very attractive, and the local beer was rally good. The accomodation was fine. The rooms were in an adjacent cottage style annexe, just across the large car park. The choice of evening meals was wide, and the food was good. Breakfast was continental only, but very healthy. Would we stay there again? YES!
Loved our stay at here, staff were very welcoming and helpful and patient with our young Vizsla dog. Ideal set up for staying with a dog, with rooms located opposite site of the car park to the cosy pub. Food was excellent. Definitely would come and stay here again.
Lovely gem of an Inn. Great location and the hosts are super. Our dogs were looked after and they enjoyed the treats they sell and the dinner they had when we had our dinner. Highly recommend

Pleasant stay
Pleasant stay and convenient for the local event we were attending. The rooms are in the pub courtyard so we weren’t disturbed by noise. Dinner in the pub was good and reasonably priced. All the staff were extremely friendly and dogs are welcome. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was continental but adequate. Would definitely stay again if attending events in the area.
We had a meal on the first night which was very good. Guinness pie with mash and an Angus burger. Food was served hot and was very tasty 😋 The room was clean and tidy with a big bathroom. One small issue was a loose toilet seat but it was sorted as soon as I reported it to reception. Overall a good 2 night stay. A cooked breakfast would have made the stay even better but there was a continental breakfast, fresh fruit, cereal, toast, yoghurt etc.
Lovely clean and well maintained room. Staff very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was just continental (toast and jam/nutella, cereal, fruit and flavoured yoghurts) but as I'm diabetic they went out shopping and got me plain yoghurts and marmite for low sugar options.
Lovely place to stay, food excellent
both breakfast and evening meal. Great cask ale,
and wine.
Very nice friendly Staff, can highly recommend this Inn.

While the staff was kind, there was no hot water because the boiler wasn’t working and we had no heads up about it. The chef was out so the included breakfast was toast and cereal, hardly even continental. I’ve had breakfast here on previous stays and it was lovely, but this visit was a disappointment. WiFi is free but shared with the pub and all rooms, and the cell reception is very unreliable.
Overnight stop, Friendly staff, kept kitchen open a bit for me. Real ale.
Rooms spacious and clean, though bathroom a little tired.
Great Bath towel
Great breakfast
Lovely clean rooms but would be better if the TV was mounted on the wall so that the mirror could be better used, an extra chair or stool in the bedroom would also be helpful as I had to kneel on the floor. Normally this would not have bothered me but we were getting ready for a wedding.

The room was good except that it was very cold, the radiator was turned up high but the room never got warm. The duvet was only Summer weight so we had to use a towel and our coats to try and keep warm.
Breakfast was continental and good, but a full English would have been preferred after a cold night! The ladies who served breakfast were lovely.
We had dinner in the restaurant which was very good.
Had a one night stop over stay here, the accommodation was spotless and the bed was super comfy. Spent the evening in the pub, which is beautifully decorated, warm and inviting. We didn't have a meal but did order a cheesecake which was absolutely delicious. All the staff were friendly, warm and inviting and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was included and very delicious. Thank you

Disappointed
Problems with shower in first room. Very small tv with bed too far away. No mirror in room orher than bathroom.had to ask to move rooms due to poor shower control. Next room problems with rainfall shower. When switched on water gushed out of shower bar. Reported again. Many phone calls to manager during breakfast. Messages passed via breakfast staff who did their very best to help. They were polite helpful and friendly. It was a lovely pub although when asked if i could substitute or add some coleslaw or mushrooms to the evening meal was told "no" by male waiter. Appeared to have new staff who were unsure. Disappointed
A very enjoyable stay - very friendly staff and a large bedroom. Restaurant wasn't open (Sunday eve) so can't comment on evening meals but the breakfast was superb.
Great find. Nice accommodation and lovely pub
Great staff - good selection of everything and great food
Excellent breakfast too
Will definitely be back when I need to stay in the area
