“A perfect stay for 3 days fishing . The room was amazing / the breakfast superb and served by very pleasant helpful girls !! Also great value !! Parked 80 yards away ( no problem ) . Couldnt fault the Guest House in any way at all !! We will definitely be back now we know how good it is !!!! Well done ALL the staff Regards Malcolm Davis and Steve Barton”

“Lovely old pub in beautiful location, excellent breakfast, with home made preserves. The dinner menu looked very exciting but sadly we were dining elsewhere. Staff most helpful, carrying luggage and providing information. There is an onsite brewery! The night was extremely hot, so difficult to sleep, but very comfortable bed and well equipped room. The bathroom could have done with refurbishment to the tiling and taps, but was acceptable. There is a large parking area, by the river garden.”

“Lovely lodges, well maintained and nice hot tub Only disadvantage is not being able to keep the car at the lodge as my friend has poor mobility. We had been promised the lodge closest to the restaurant building, but we weren't put in there unfortunately”

“Awful ! Derelict property in need of total revamp. No bar no restaurants no amenities to speak of! Grudgingly stayed one night cancelled the rest of my stay and moved elsewhere. Avoid!”
