Ryokans en Shishihama

“One of the most beautiful ryokans I've been to. The gardens, the pond, the koi - simply stunning. Feels like you've been catapulted back in time. Location is right next to Shuzenji temple & bamboo forest. Staff was increadibly hospitable too with an eye for detail and went the extra mile in taking care of our luggae, car & my mum's rollator storage. Food (especially dinner) was very good too. Lots of small dishes I had never seen arranged like this before, even though I have lived in Japan in...

“Very clean room and attentive staff. We enjoyed a half board each day and were met with an exquisite multitude of Japanese traditional foods and delicacies. The surrounding town is quiet, and uber/taxi is available for travel. This is an amazing experience to immerse yourself in Japanese culture, reset, and unwind. Our favorite part would have to be the onsen.”

“This was a unique and calming stay for us. The traditional room was beautiful and had unique touches. The view of the green maple trees was zen. We used the deep soaking tub and also the wonderful onsen facility. I highly recommend staying here for a peaceful getaway.”

“We really enjoyed our stay, tattoos were not a problem”

“Todo genial ! Seguro regresaría !”
