Our stay at Byaku was one of the most memorable experiences on our Japan trip. The hotel exemplifies Japanese artistry in so many ways, from hospitality to cuisine to design. It was a unique opportunity to stay in an historic region in a beautifully renovated historic Japanese structure.

Such an amazing surprise. One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at and a great dinner. Staff was wonderful. The town is magical after hours when all the tourist leave. I would absolutely recommend.
