“Excellent onsen hotel right at the end of the first day of the Kohechi Kumano Kodo pilgrimage trail. I came for the onsen and mountain seclusion, but they had such good maps of the Kohechi at the front desk that I decided to walk back to Koyasan the day I checked out. It’s about 20km through the mountains from Nosegawa Onsen to Koyasan, walking on a mix of well-kept trails and paved roads; overall, a moderately difficult hike with very good signage. “Everything was good only to let you know that the onsen in the another hotel that before you could use, now you won’t be able to use it starting in December and also the breakfast and any service from the another hotel you won’t be able to use it, that is a shame because it is a beautiful onsen and a buffet breakfast It was a nice service like that ”
