Great location just 7 minute walk from the station and not much more to Mall Road. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially the waiter in the kitchen. Safe in room actually worked (unlike some hotels I stayed at in India. Only minus was the very pushy receptionist who tried to force a 5 star review out of me before I left (she made me open Google Reviews and watched me typing - unfortunately for her I was all out of their allotted WiFi allowance (basically didn’t last a day and a half and I am not a heavy browser). So for that they lose a star.

It is located in a very convenient place so can walk to all key places. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. When we wanted to leave early they arranged breakfast so that we left the hotel after a good breakfast :)

Disappointing experienec

The property is far away from any attractions. Spa is under construction, and the staff is rude. After making the reservation with breakfast, they denied breakfast. The breakfast timings were not respected from 8am, it was served late. My recommendation is to not book this hotel.

This hotel was fine, comfortable in a good location. Compared to other places we stayed, it was rather expensive for what we got, but Shimla is expensive. We were expecting it to be more luxurious than it was.

Just don’t.

We had to change our room multiple times over a 2 night stay. The bedding had stains & the rooms were not clean. Marks on the walls to unwashed floors. We asked to get a refund, so we could leave the hotel & got promised the Presidential Suit, although it was bigger, all the same issues persisted. The WiFi was intermittent & slow. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Worst hotel ever

This was one of the most pathetic experience so far. We had booked this hotel (fully paid 2 rooms, 3-4 months in advance even before coming to India). Upon arrival, they informed us that families of their management staff overstayed and they don't have two separate rooms available. Instead they gave us much small two bed suite with only one bath. Rooms and bathrooms were very dirty and stinking, there was also a leakage in the bathroom, it appeared this suite was closed for quite some time. Basically they had no regard for their fully paid foreigner guests who trusted online reviews and booked this hotel, their management staff families were given preference and foreign nationals were left on the road. What a shame! Be careful if you decide to go here!
