This is an excellent ryokan owned by a family, with clean and neat japanese style en-suite and onsen. It locates at the top of a small hill overlooking the supreme zekkei of the Shimanto River. The owner and the staffs are very hospitable, we wish to visit again in the future, perhaps in a different season. Thank you very much and we had a wonderful stay.
Its located on the top of a hill in Nakaruma and has beautiful views of the town. Its quite accessible to take a taxi outside Nakaruma train station at 1100 yen.
Its just had a renovation within one year probably, everything in our traditional Japanese room (tatami) is whole new and clean, including the quilts and pillows.
The breakfast provided is lovely, which is in traditional Japanese cuisine. Two outdoor hot springs (onsen) have different designs and views.
The landlord family and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Therefore the price of accommodation is a bit higher but reasonable.
The Nakaruma castle is just around the corner, just 8 minute walk from the hotel.
