“Good iconic place”

“High end, recently opened resort in a very quiet spot on the K2 river, close to Shigar Valley. Couldn’t fault the cleanliness, food, views and room quality, but being in what felt like a large, city hotel in the middle of the mountains was slightly odd. Overall, a solid choice.”

“If you are looking for a quit resort away from any hustle and bustle this is perfect. About hour and half away from the airport. No resorts, hotels or restaurants close by you have to travel about 30 minutes. But this resort is right on the river and a beautiful view of Snow peak mountains. Access to little beach. They’re still in process of upgrading their facility. I wish they had a gym but overall, if it’s very friendly, nice day.”

“This hotel was amazing and had a fully functional high quality restaurant. The views of surrounding snow capped mountains were amazing. The only problem was that the entire Skardu town had wifi problems and electricity shortages. Hotel had generators to cope with the situation. The hotel said that local government is trying to solve it. The only workable sim card for phone was S-com but even that was on and off depending on the terrain. So be wary of that. Of course it was not hotels fault....
