Nice hotel in beautiful surroundings however the decor is very tired. The staff were very friendly and hospitable and the leisure facilities were good. There is a very limited food menu on offer in the bar and the quality of the food was mediocre at best.

This beautiful listed building is set in very peaceful and calm grounds. The staff are really helpful and friendly. We loved the jacuzzi, swimming pool and sauna. The owners have plans to update the rooms whilst keeping the wonderful character of the hotel. We loved our stay here.

The staff were attentive and friendly and the cooked breakfast was good. The decor was half old country house and half outdated nineties. It was shabby inside and not well maintained outside. We had an enjoyable stay. The room.was spacious. Parking was free but you had to enter your Registration on arrival. So many signs about parking restrictions! The staff were very helpful.

Although a little dated with the decor it was super clean, the staff couldn’t of been more helpful and pleasant, breakfast tasty, the pool area was an added bonus, a nice little extra to complete our one night stopover before carrying on to our next destination. We would definitely return.
