Vacations Close To Shelter Gardens

Nice classy hotel..right next to police station...very secure place to be!

Great location! Room was not serviced for all our days (three night stay). No explanation and we were out of our room most of the time. Gym was also not ventilated and hot. Decided not to use due to the elevated temperatures. Stay for convenience, but not for quality of facilities or room service.

This was our second time staying at this hotel. The reason we chose this hotel is because of its excellent location. It's very walkable with beautiful green areas and quite neighborhoods surrounding it. There are many good restaurants within walking distance (our favorite is Taco Buddha). This hotel has a whole host of amenities including EV charging, parking (for a fee), a pool, and on-site bar. What it doesn't have is smart TVs or fully free Internet access. This means if you want to watch something on Netflix or anything streaming, you need to bring your own Firestick or Roku. Even if you want to watch something on your computer, you'll be charged for higher bandwidth. Free Internet is only for emails and other things that require light access. The rooms are pretty clean although our carpet was still dirty with tangled hair. I can't be overly critical about this since I can tell they do make the effort to get the room clean it might just be that the vacuum couldn't pick up the hair. Breakfast wasn't to our liking but it wasn't terrible. Staff was pleasant. Overall I recommend this hotel and would stay here again mainly because of its fantastic location!

Really well kept nice hotel. Major downfalls tho, only have double beds or king size beds. I booked 1 room for 5 people(room says sleeps 5) thinking it would be enough room. Upon arriving there are2 double beds, slightly larger than a twin. And no sofa bed pull out. I went to talk to the desk and they did move me to another room and allowed us to get a roll bed for $15 as the room was too small to fit a roll away bed in there. , No big deal. I am just curious as to how their rooms on the site state they can accommodate 5 but the 2 double beds barely fit one person on each, dont allow roll beds and have no couch for anyone into sleep on? Confused. They only allow the bell hop to use the bag cart to transport items. They are busy, i get it, but they took over a half hour to get up there to transfer us and by that time we had moved them all by hand to our new room. Old room floor 11 new room floor 8. Not great when moving luggage for 5 people(2 kids, my wife, and mother in law). Also had to keep recalling for rollaway beds to come up. They stayed initially it would take 15-20 minutes, ok cool. I had to call back 45 minutes later and they said oh it hasn’t come yet? I tell them no. I guess all the things that’s were suppose to be courtesy just made it more difficult. Let me take the luggage cart myself and do it ( they will only let bell hops use them). It takes forever. And don’t over promise and under deliver on wait times for things, Just be transparent. Thank you

Great place to stay, nice staff, great breakfast and wonderful food from 5:30-7pm

This is ON CAMPUS at Washinton U! The parking was a little strange until we figuring it out. Being right on campus, it was convenient and absolutely a beautiful hotel. We loved our stay, and slept very well. Breakfast was very good, although we had to pay a little.
