“I very rarely post a bad review; I normally don't post a review at all if I haven't liked it. However, we booked The Croft based on the number of 5* reviews it had. On a positive, the location of this B&B is perfect - really close to the High Street. However, we've stayed in a lot of places, both higher and lower end, depending on our requirements, and I'm sorry to say that this is probably one of the worst places we've stayed at. Overhead light in the bathroom was full of dead insects etc, wires hanging down from the television. Black mould on the windows. Tea bags not sealed but loose in a plastic container and not fresh. On a positive note the bed was comfortable and the linen was clean. The cooked breakfast was very nice.”
