Nice quiet hotel based on old building but tastefully extended. Only issue was recurring issue with room keys being wiped. Otherwise everything was perfect for a quiet stay. Breakfast was generally good. Dinner quite limited and expensive.

Hotel is situated in lovely grounds and looks very impressive on the drive up. Room felt like it could do with a bit of updating but was clean enough and comfortable. Bar area and restaurant were also excellent with friendly staff. Wouls stay again

Room was nice enough and warm. Last time I stopped in that room it stunk of damp.. it was alot better this time. As a positive they actually remembered to give me my free wine. Breakfast is spot on!!! Staff are lovely.
