Very value for money. It's a short 5 mins walk from the metro which connects directly to the bund (also walkable from the hotel in about 20 mins), yu gardens, xin tian di and much more. There are good restaurants, bars and bakeries around the vicinity as well. The breakfast shop right beside the hotel attracts huge crowds from 10pm onwards. Only downside is inconsiderate hotel guests whom we suspects smokes at the window at the end of the corridor which unfortunately is not too far from our room. So we were surprise there was smell of smoke when we stepped through the room door. Fortunately for us, we stayed in the junior suite and the smoke smell did not permeate beyond the entrance area, so the living room toilet and bedroom were fine. Otherwise we would have requested for a room change.
