Discreet luxury in central Shanghai location

I had been to the Puli for drinks and meals on previous visits but this was my first stay. It’s an incredibly comfortable and low key luxury place - the bed, the discreet room service, the breakfast buffet, the central location, everything about this place is wonderful.

This hotel is lovely, situated next to a park and across from the Jing'an Temple. The subway is on the same block as the hotel, which makes travel around Shanghai easy. I particularly liked that there were no carpets in the rooms.

Beautifully designed hotel in a great location. Staff is super kind and helpful. Only down side is the breakfast which is charged about $40/p and is not at the level for Asia. The other hotel on the same group in Beijing (The PuXuan) offers a more complete and refined buffet in comparison. Outside of that, we highly recommend this hotel!

Perfect Hotel Shanghai

Great service right from the start to the finish, accommodation was clean. Home delivery food was very delicious they listened attentively to all the requests made. We had the pleasure of staying at the Puli Hotel and Spa. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Jing An. Reels Mall is a 2 minute walk, the Kerry Centre is a 5 minute walk. nearest metro is Jing A Temple which is on line 2, most convenient line which gets you pretty much everywhere. 20 minute walk to West Nanjing Road. Overall great hotel, perfect location with lots of shops and dinning options. Hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful. Spa area was lovely. Few observations however, the jacuzzi had some particles floating in it. I left the minute I saw them and also the swimming pool was a little too cold.

Hotel is located in a central location of the Jing An Area. There are a couple of shopping malls and department stores within walking distance. The hotel is nicely designed, staffs are welcoming but I think they could be more well-trained in general for such a high standard hotel. The room is nice and comfortable. One thing is the sliding door for bathroom and bath tub is partially transparent so it’s a bit inconvenient and embarrassing if you prefer more privacy for yourself. I did request the staff to apply big patch sticker on the sliding door to solve this problem and they did accordingly so I’m okay with stay all in all. Minibar is free.
