Family travel with 2 adults and 2 young kids. Hotel is in the centre of the downtown financial district with shopping malls nearby including IFC and Super Brand mall. Walking distance to the Shanghai Pearl Tower as well as the Metro station. Rooms are large, clean, and quiet. Buffet breakfast had a good spread and a bit of everything for everyone. Most staff spoke/understood English and were all super helpful. Only downside was there’s no self serve laundry. My booking included laundry service but limited to 3 pieces per day.

We had a unbelievable good stay at the wonderful Regent hotel. It felt like home, the staff was amazing. Location is amazing and the view from the room was out of this world. The gym was open 24/7 and the machines was everything you need. The pools was very good and safe because the life guards. I am looking forward to come back to shanghai.

The room and location of this hotel were amazing. We had awesome breakfast in the fifth floor Wood Pike for the Regent club. The room is huge with Greater vanities, but most of all I love the pool sauna, and everything about this hotel.
