Worth the Effort

Well run hotel with all the comforts and ameninities you would expect. I looked forward to breakfast every day. Quiet, peaceful with great water pressure and soft bedding. Add a no smoking policy and bilingual staff and it was perfect staying here!

I chose this hotel because I needed to take care of some business at the bank across the street. It's a more local area which means lower prices for food, etc but I speak Mandarin so could get around easily. Very close to metro for Line 3/4/7. The hotel provides free laundry washer/dryer which means they were constantly being used. The breakfast was mostly Chinese food, which i enjoyed. Overall a good 3 night stay but again, i only chose this area for business purposes, not for sightseeing.

The area around the property offers much dining and convenience store options. However, the hotel itself is hard to handle. The corridors leading up to our room were laced with smoke smell despite the many signs that says non smoking. Our room had a strong odour of smoke when we first entered and we had to air it by leaving the windows open. As the hotel overlooks the highway, the noise is also somewhat dissatisfactory. The room’s cleanliness is also quite bad with the toilet being the only saving grace and the bedsheets being acceptable. Breakfast is also pretty abysmal.

Poor customer service, no one could understand basic English! 3 paying customers 2 towels ,2 cups for tea,2 glasses for brushing teeth.First night 2 polite phone conversations. Nothing, 3rd call gentleman comes with towels no cups! And i could go on and on.In the end got paper cups. The second night couldn't get air con to work.Wrote politely on app,we are going out forvthe day could you get someone to check our aircon please, not working, 'would you like a fan?' ,no,maybe we incorrectly used it can you send someone. Yes we will. No it wasn't looked at! Another hot night. Also, house cleaning only made beds and replaced towels.Didnt clean anything!

Tuvimos una muy mala experiencia en el check in, llegamos a la 1:00 am, muy cansados, después de un largo viaje. Nuestra reserva era para 6 personas en dos habitaciones, nos entregaron las habitaciones y a pesar de ser suite con gran espacio, solo tenían cama para 4 personas. El servicio en la recepción fue pésimo, nos tuvieron hasta las 3:30 am y la única solución que logramos fue que nos dieran una almohada y una cobija para que dos personas durmieran en el sofá, supremamente incomodo. Al día siguiente hablamos con el manager, entendió la situación, se disculpó y nos entregó una habitación adicional para que las 6 personas estuviéramos cómodas. Pésimo manejo de la recepcionista!! Nos dio muy mal trato!! Que lástima que tengan personas así para atender clientes!!
