“The staff at the reception was amazing, and the cleaning staff was excellent as well. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was very disappointing. Staff members were removing plates before guests had even finished their meals, and there was constant shouting throughout the hotel. The alcohol served at the bar was of very poor quality. Overall, this did not feel like a 5-star hotel experience at all.”

“This is a half-renovated hotel being marketed as luxury. In fact, its previous name is still visible throughout the premises, and in some cases hastily plastered over with a sticker. We booked one of the cheaper rooms, but were surprised by how poor the quality was. The mattress was terrible — we could feel every spring despite both of us weighing 80 and 50kg. “Amazing service, clean delightful little Boutique hotel. Breakfast was simple but delicious and plenty of choice - the eating area was amazing. Partially alfresco, chilled and bright. Room was fantastic and as an avid gym go-er, it was great to have decent weights and kit selection on site. Plenty to do a morning workout session in which is exactly what I wanted for my mini break. “We stayed at the Syntopia Hotel for our summer holiday. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, they put in extra effort to get to know you and ensure you are having a lovely holiday. A few days into our holiday, they were automatically bringing our favourite drinks to our table at meal times which was very lovely! The food had such a good variety with a different focus every other night. We particularly enjoyed the Asian night. We would recommend staying at the Syntopia to everyone!”
