Everything about the town and this organisation (they have a few places to stay and eat) was professional and delightful. Room wasn’t large but perfectly functional and stylishly finished.

Absolutely darling hotel in the cutest town in Iceland! Highly recommend!! We didn’t have the breakfast but a buffet was available for $. Steps away from the famous church and rainbow street.

Great central location with free parking, and the room was clean and spacious. However, this is more of a guesthouse than a hotel. Having to collect the entry code from the restaurant a block away was inconvenient, especially with luggage, and carrying bags up to the second floor with no lift was a hassle. The restaurant staff were not very welcoming, and overall I felt the stay was overpriced for what was offered.

Room was nice and clean. Tub a bit hard to step in and very slippery so put a towel on the bottom so I wouldn’t fall. Had to walk to a restaurant to check in after parking in a supermarket parking lot which is rather interesting. No free breakfast and offered on that was imo a bit too spendy. Cute little town

The place was really cute and clean and right next to the iconic church and rainbow Road in town. The host took about four hours to respond to me, which was a little frustrating. The town itself does not have a lot to offer compared to other places in Iceland but was very beautiful.

The check in at the main area was very easy. The room was spacious and homey. The bathroom floors were heated and the shower was amazing. We really liked the small feel of the hotel. Breakfast wasn’t included but was reasonably priced and delicious!

this was a highlight of our stay in Iceland. Our room was spacious and in one of their three buildings .close by was another location that had laundry and kitchen facilities available to guests. We were able to do a couple of loads of washing which was very welcomed. We were also able to have our own breakfast which was more economical. Dinner at the Aldan and Skaftfell restaurants are superb. Highly recommend this place as a stop in the eastern fjords.

We had a great stay here! The room was recently refurbished and was really nice. Check-in and out was really easy (self service) and we had an amazing dinner and fantastic breakfast in the restaurant (a separate building to the rooms). The staff at dinner and breakfast were efficient and friendly too. It’s located in a cute little village with stunning scenery. Would recommend a night or two here!

We had a beautifully decorated and lovely room and bath in the old Bank building. Heated floor in the bathroom, great shower, great bed! Room was spacious. Also enjoyed an excellent dinner! Amazing little spot in Iceland. What a treat!
