It was mostly clean but there was pee in the toilet when I checked in. Not the cleanest sheets and there was some hair left around. The bed was not supportive so the center sunk down pretty far. It was an ok place but nothing excellent. I did like the check in process though.

Good enough for a budget hotel. Clean rooms, good kitchen. There is also an Apple TV provided which is good for evenings/night stay in the room. However it would have been better if they provided kitchen tissues and chopping boards. Also, I am still clueless if they do clean the room if you don’t put the “do not disturb” sign. We stayed for 3 days and didn’t see they coming to clean the room. Very close to Harding ice field and there is a grocery store also nearby.

Nice place to stay!

Very spacious and clean room, with easy self check-in. Plenty of parking and many things to do close by - exit glacier and downtown Seward were quick drives away. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and would definitely stay again.

We liked everything except the bathroom. Sink and shower drain were clogged and who uses a barn door for a bathroom. No privacy when in the bathroom at all. Put in a real door!!!. And the walls are definitely not sound proof. I could hear my neighbor coughing. Other than that it was ok.

Good location but I wouldn't stay here again

Our reservation stated that check-in started at 3pm but when we arrived at 3pm we were told check-in wasn't until 4pm. Our room smelled like someone had recently cooked in it and there was leftover food from someone else in both the refrigerator and freezer. We didn't bother to contact the management about it because we'd already had a hassle contacting someone about our check-in and there is no one on site. The rest of the room looked clean. The room was an odd design with a large closet that could only be accessed when the bathroom door was closed. There was no handle on the inside of the bathroom door but the door could be slid by using the very tips of our fingers. There weren't nightstands by the bed and there was no way to turn off any light from the bed. The hotel wasn't bad and it's in a good location, but we wouldn't stay here again.

The rooms were very clean and modern, and very spacious as well! It was a convenient location, close to the port where our day cruises were leaving from and also the park entrance to Exit Glacier. Self check-in was smooth and clear instructions were provided. I would highly recommend staying in this wonderful place if you are planning a trip to Seward.

Overall, the room was very nice, very clean and spacious. We were on the ground floor and there is not much insulation between floors, we could hear every footstep from the room above. The hotel is apparently still under construction, the grounds are gravel, mostly, and the hotel is a little out of the way, so there’s really nothing to see there, and no place to take a walk. The real issue is the check in process. You cannot get an early check in, you don’t get your code for check in until after 2:00 pm, the code won’t work until 4:00 pm unless you pay an extra $50. There was never anyone at the front desk to ask anything, so it was frustrating not having human interaction. The issue is not the room, it was great. Everything else fell far short.

Lovely accommodations but hard to find!

Stayed in a two bedroom chalet. Accommodations were lovely- plenty of room for the 4 of us- everything looked brand new. However, our check in was effectuated by text with the name of the unit and a code to get in, but no directions as to where the unit was located. There are multiple buildings. The road in to the lodge was unpaved and there is little lighting at night. We fortunately arrived during daylight but it took a lot of driving around to find the unit. A map would have been very helpful and essential for anyone renting a chalet and arriving after dark.
