The staff was great. The property smaller and is dated however, the problem is the plumbing is in-need of service. Our bathtub/shower was extremely slow to drain (yuck). You can tell drainage issues have plagued the units as wall access panels were of different colors (we rented 2 rooms). When that issue is corrected, the property will do for a night or two prior to leaving out on either a charter or cruise ship.

An older motel that provided ok accomodations. Even with temps in the 50's, the rooms were very warm. Small room with no place for luggage. Staff was wonderful.

Room was pretty clean except for a few dead mosquitoes smashed on the wall.. the view is beautiful, the place is very close to all the restaurants They also had 15% off for Kenai fjord tour

Moya and Clarabelle were outstanding, they went out of their way to be helpful. The beds were all comfortable. The pillows were good. The towels were new. The big but was the shower that did not work, black mold on bathroom ceiling. Room smelled musty. We were able to clear out dank smell by leaving front door and slider open. Moya switched rooms for us. Second room smelled of mildew. Windows were possibly painted shut and the cranks were broken. We were able to force them open for some ventilation. I’ve stayed in worse, but 30 years ago the price for a dive hotel was under $50. This place has some severe deferred maintenance. $267 per night. Looking around, one really needs to spend $450 for an ok place in Seward

The front desk was fantastic and super helpful. The room itself was fine a bit run down and could use some updates. It was warm the days we were there about 70 and like most places in Alaska there is no air conditioning. We were able to open balcony door and room door for a great cross breeze that made the room comfortable. Beautiful view and within walking distance to both downtown and the harbor.

The Motel location is ideal to reach downtown or cruise terminal. All staffs including front desk and housekeeping are very nice and helpful. However, the motel's condition is terribly unclean in bathroom and disgusting bedding.
