The room was clean and tidy, the location was convenient, and the shuttle service was prompt. We were able to store our luggage at the lodge and were driven directly to the train station after checking out; we didn't retrieve our bags until we arrived in Anchorage, which was extremely convenient.

The room I stayed in was on the historic side. I had an issue with the door lock and staff had to demonstrate how it works. The bathroom is shared as well. This wasn’t a big issue for me. Also no elevator so it was a challenge getting luggage up and down the stairs. The location was great and I had an excellent sleep. No ac but it felt perfect with the window open. I would stay here again.

It was a good stay. Cleaned the room every other day per hotel policy. The tub drained so slowly. We had to tell management and someone fixed it. I was thinking, that I am pretty sure the maid noticed how slowly it drained when the tub was being cleaned. The problem should had been addressed before we came. Location is good.
