Quiet and relaxing. Great if traveling without a car as is 1/2 way between train station and the downtown area. It is also right on the free shuttle route with a convenient stop, so is easy to get to Safeway grocery store at far end of town There is a fridge and microwave in the room! The front desk staff is delightful and offer free bear spray. Mount Marathon and Twin Lakes trails as well as paved trail all along Resurection Bay are all 1-2 blocks away. There is a laundrymat nearby and many restaurants within walking distance (or shuttle service).

MET OUR EXPECTATIONS - HAPPILY STAY AGAIN

Comfortable spacious room in good condition. Property is approx 700 metres from the Kenai Fjords National Park Cruise Terminal. Woody's Thai Kitchen only 100 metres away. A busy Friday evening where we had to wait 20 minutes for a table.

Mary at the front desk was wonderful. We were very happy with our rooms. The location was great - in between the harbor and downtown. And there was shuttle stop right at the hotel. Great place to stay!

Staff was friendly and very accommodating. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The location was perfect for us - on the shuttle route, walkable to town and to harbor. Also very close to My Marathon trailhead.
