Lovely hotel, we arrived earlier than the check-in time and luckily our room was ready very quickly and were able to check-in early which was a bonus! All staff were lovely except one male member of staff at reception who comes across a bit rude. My sister, who stayed a few weeks later, also found this to be the case! The room was nice and spacious and breakfast was good. Staff were great at explaining how to get around and what's nearby. Would stay again if I returned!

Amazing experience with the best staff and service. The room (401) was lovely with our own patio, and we had dinner twice at the hotel as it was so lovely. The do flamenco nights on Saturday so you can have an immersive experience. I have stayed more central before, but I actually enjoyed the little walk to the centre and the peace of this local neighbourhood. Highly recommended! Thanks team x

The staff were really nice and very helpful. We had a small problem with the shower, and they assisted us promptly. It was also my girlfriend’s birthday, so I asked if they could leave a note in the room as a surprise. They did, and even included a bottle, which was a really lovely touch. Thank you for that. The hotel is easy to access—the bus stop is nearby, and you can also walk to reach the famous places.

Lovely hotel in the city center. Within the old city walls and 20 minutes walk from the tourist areas. Very friendly and helpful staff, and delicious breakfast. Allin all it exceeded my expectations for a hotel at this price, really good value, highly recommend it!

All staff from reception to cleaning to dining staff was very helpful and polite. The lady in the dining area name Adriana is outstanding understanding very helpful can’t say enough Kudos about her. Second or equally great is the staff at the front desk. My wife and I travel a lot for years and the staff at Hotel Gil is outstanding fabulous.

Fabulous hotel in lovely location. Only negative was how noisy it was in the morning as breakfast was served in central courtyard. Plates/cutlery/chattering and (worst of all) table and chair legs scraping the floor from 8am every morning.
