We had a wonderful stay, the suite was spacious and beautiful. Both the outdoor and indoor pools were stunning. The restaurant was great too, 5 stars all round 😃 one suggestion for QDC, it would be great to have a more casual/snack bar option for lunches or dinners, to give an extra option

WOW!! Simply incredible. We have never been so relaxed. From the moment we arrived and were greeted with someone to look after us, to the moment we left we were well looked after. This is a luxury hotel with amazing rooms, the resort is so peaceful with gorgeous surroundings. It is a perfect place to sit or enjoy the spa and let time go by. 10/10 we loved our stay here

The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are fab, farm to table food, the pool is gorgeous, we had a 1 bed townhouse which was lovely. However was it worth £835 a night? No. Compared to other 5 star hotels it was lacking. Pretty much all activities had an additional fee, even the cycling bikes. The food was nice but nothing amazing. The staff were poor, couldn’t get simple requests like no dressing on a salad, called reception about the aircon and they said they’d call back… they never did. Again not the service from hotels of similar prices I’ve stayed in elsewhere. I also think this hotel would be better suited as adults only.

Excellent. We stayed in a pool view double room, it was spacious, very large bed and bright. Whilst the weather was not great, we took the opportunity to relax in a the lovely spa. The breakfast is expansive and staff are. Helpful. Would come again

Overall, our experience at Quinta was very good. The property is absolutely beautiful, and the staff were very good. We especially enjoyed out bike tour led by one of the young staff members. Our experience was detracted by two things. The quality of the food (to price), specifically the dinner was not up to par with other comparable properties. When we stayed at the property, occupancy of the property was low, as we stayed at the end of November. We were put in the nearest suite to the reception, which was convenient, however, we suffered from a tremendous amount of noise from the comings and going of other guests and cleaning staff.

Front desk seemed bothered all three times I was there. Spa was dirty. The floors were more like a garage cement floor that was painted by amateurs and had several spots that were peeling. This property is very over priced and overrated. Location is also very poor. Staff was a mixed bag. Some were very friendly and helpful others were miserable.

Certain areas in need of upkeep, with flooding outside the room and chipping paint everywhere. It was difficult to get around the hotel on foot - particularly at night with poor illumination and no buggies. Every time you want to get to the car to head to a restaurant for dinner you’ll be walking for >5 minutes in the dark and pouring rain. Friendly but inexperienced staff. No area for hotel guests to socialise at night - the reception area is small and you’re pretty much on top of the receptionists and at the restaurant there’s limited seating if you’re not eating and you’ll be hounded to order drinks every few minutes. Every activity you can think of requires additional payment, which is in poor taste for a 5 star hotel. As far as luxury hotels in Comporta go, this one is not even close to the level of Sublime. If you’re on the fence, I would opt for Sublime any day of the week - better amenities, service, staff, food and overall experience.

Dear Team, I would like to share feedback from my recent stay. The hotel did not reach out ahead of our arrival to help tailor our plans or secure reservations, which is normally expected at this level. I had to initiate contact myself, and after several days of delay, I was told to contact the beach clubs directly. By then, everything was sold out, and I ended up returning to beach clubs I already knew from past visits. I had also requested a small cupcake for my daughter’s birthday, which was forgotten and only provided at the last minute before checkout after I reminded the staff. Despite paying a premium for a townhome for three kids, one night we received only two towels. Breakfast quality has declined, with fewer options than before. There was no welcome drink, the nightly cookies were crumbly and falling apart, and there was no small welcome gesture for children—details typically expected at hotels in this category. Given that the hotel does not have its own beach club, it is even more important to ensure a seamless beach experience for guests. Most travelers do not choose a resort of this class to stay at the pool only.

No podría catalogarse como un 5 estrellas gran lujo. Se los he dejado saber al manager on duty y al front desk customer service y les ha dado francamente igual . Ausencia total de servicio y agradar a los huéspedes . Quisimos cenar en el restaurante y Alisa las hostess nos dijo que teníamos que esperar 20 minutos . Una camarera al vernos esperar quiso hablar con ella porque habían mesas vacías. Igual dijo que teníamos que esperar. Yo me acerqué para mediar y dijo que ya no era posible darnos de cenar. Hemos tenido que hacer room service traído en toppers descartable sin ninguna delicadeza de un 5 estrellas gran lujo. Y tras insistentes quejas y reclamaciones ninguna intención de solventar . Todo es excusa y mantienen la posición que están cambiando de administración. Que por eso están con muchas faltas . Pero a la hora de cobrar tu tarjeta de crédito eso les da igual. Te cobran full fare . Que en agosto es alta.
