Peaceful little gem

Beautiful old building and neat gardens, staff helpful and attentive even though few of them. Excellent food, veggie available on each menu. Comfortable rooms, nice toiletries, big bath, plenty hot drink makings. Lovely and peaceful.

Wonderful hotel in an beautiful setting in the Yorkshire Dales just outside Settle. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the gardens and a four poster bed. Really friendly staff throughout the stay, with a great breakfast served the next day.

Excellent Stay

From checking in to checkout the staff were brilliant. Room was clean and comfortable. We stayed through serious bad weather and even with staff going early to ensure they got home those that stayed were attentive, polite and ensured nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely stay again.

Lovely stay

We had a one night stay with our dog. The hotel felt warm and welcoming. All the staff were very friendly and efficient and made a fuss of our little pooch. The rooms were comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was lovely and even our dog her own sausage on a garnished plate.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely setting with rooms well ordered, Cooked breakfast was well cooked. It fruit selection poor and no plain yoghurt! Evening meal menu had something for everyone. Lovely log fires burning and a great place to stay for a celebration. Good parking and only a few minutes walk into the pretty market town which has pubs and an Indian along with lots of cafes.

Settle in Settle.

Wonderful place on the edge of Settle. Very old Manor House with cosy log fire in reception and everything you expect from a Manor House. Staff were very helpful and checked us in very early. Dog friendly and welcoming. Only criticism, was the put up beds for the children were hard and uncomfortable.

Beautiful building

Really lovely building , staff were very friendly but I think understaffed . Bedroom was lovely , great new bathroom . Breakfast somewhat limited for me as in no natural yoghurt,granola,fruits, one type of milk- no choice It was honestly ok but like everywhere at the moment,savings have to be made and you could see that . We had a lovely stay though and it's excellent for walking into Settle
