Let me be honest, if you’re looking just for a place to stay sleep at night then it’s good, nothing fancy like other hotels, basic room with bed private bathroom and a tv. Subway nearby and it’s a nice area to stay less crowd and noise.

The thing I like about Hipzy is walkable from green line station and the staff are very helpful but the hotel itself I think it needs to improved. No shower curtain, while having a shower water goes in the floor, no mat in the floor. Imagine the floor is wet and there is no rag, if you slip, that would be a big problem. There is no exhaust fan in the washroom and room is too little. Yes you get what you pay but the reviews are pretty good so I booked for it. Lesson learn don't rely on reviews only, should also rely on photos posted by customers.

Enjoyed

The room was very good same like the picture and the shower also very big. I very enjoyed during my stay there. It’s not far from the train station and bus station. It’s very easy to go anywhere.

I Usually don’t post reviews but god damn, the room did not match booking we booked 3 separate beds and got one single bed and one queen bed. The Room is super small no place to put your bags small, the room is super old smells musty/ moldy The Air Conditioner was broken/ frozen and it started dripping the moment we tried turning it on no heat in the Room, and the sheets were thin and small definitely not enough for two people The mattresses were all covered with bed bugs bags we did not get bit but be on The look out if still choose to go there They were also super hard not comfortable if you are used to firm mattresses The Washroom is a whole other story other than its small size, it was OLD with mold on the side of the bath tub and all over the ceiling. No shower curtain the water will get everywhere spreading the mold everywhere they need some major renovation The surrounding area does smell bad and the entrance of the hotel is in a small alley and will not fit a car if you are getting dropped off Plus the city was doing some major road work and digging we were not able to sleep till 2 AM The only up side for this hotel is the strategic location to major tourist attractions/ city centre

My room was a 6/10 in cleanliness but the rest of the guest house was dirty, the halls and stairs cluttered. Safety in question. Price far beyond the quality of the stay and misleading. The staff were kind.

Worst place

I took a short 1.5 hr nap after checking in, got bitten by bed bugs. After 6:00 pm, no one was there so I had to check out on my own as the bed bug bites were severe. Up to now, the owner is not taking responsibility in giving me a refund for the 3 nights and 4 days I didn’t get to stay. Key was dropped off in their container box, they claim they haven’t received it. Incredibly unprofessional and dirty.

There was no staff, so I had a hard time figuring out Wi-Fi, hot water, towels, etc. There was no luggage storage system, so it was difficult to go sightseeing the next day. We had planned to stay for two nights, but changed to another good hotel for the second night. It was the worst experience.

I probably could have done a little more research, but the property is fantastic for what it is. It is essentially a no frills hostel (though you do get your own room with its own bathroom) that is primarily targeted toward students or other visitors with extremely tight budgets. It is self-check in and had no room service options that I was aware of. Any coordination was through a phone located at the "check in desk." It was, however, extremely easy to get checked in, up to the room, and was perfectly comfortable. If you are looking for a cheap place to sleep in a super convenient part of town, this is your place. If you want some of the creature comforts of a standard hotel, this probably isn't your place.

We had booked 3 nights but property just wasn’t a fit for us so we didn’t stay. We knew no elevator but stairs were extremely steep. Also we were surprised that on arrival no one at front desk just a landline phone and instructions to phone and someone will come to front desk. That took 10-15 minutes. Room seemed close to pictures but hallway was cluttered and eating area was small. We asked for refund and at first refused but I asked again for at least one night refund and owner agreed but said I must contact Expedia about it. Contacted Expedia and explained, they have opened a file on refund and will get back to me within 72 hours.

Es ist ein Hostel, man sollte nicht Zuviel erwarten. Ich war aber zufrieden, ich fand die Umgebung sehr interessant und anders zum Rest der Stadt. Das Einzelzimmer war auch geräumig. Es ist Self checkin. Ubahn und Bus sind in der Nähe. Es kann etwas laut werden nachts (da Hostel) Einrichtung ist etwas veraltert. Es könnte sauberer sein. Aber es ist günstig, liegt gut und zum übernachten reicht es.

部屋どうしの音だけではなく、大量に買った買い物品を廊下に広げて包装を剥がしスーツケースに詰め込む作業を深夜までする客の騒音が気になった。(おそらく中国系の人、4泊したうち2晩連続して違うグループが同じ作業をしていた。中国系の方々の間でこういうのが流行っているのかなぁ？) ソウルのホテル相場からすると、泊まれれば良いというゲストハウスでも充分な私のようなタイプならリーズナブル。 ただし、金曜日と土曜日は宿泊料金が3倍になる。 スタッフは、とてもフレンドリーで親切なお兄さんでした。
