This is a fabulous hotel in the middle of Seoul Korean. The staff is amazingly helpful. The rooms are wonderful and very comfortable for long stays.

Beautiful hotel, we stayed in the 2-bedroom/2-bathroom suite with full kitchen, washer/dryer, living and dining room. We enjoyed views of the city and Namsan Tower from our rooms. The staff was friendly and very helpful in arranging our transportation to the airport for our departure date. Food was also amazing for in-room dining with traditional Korean cuisine options. The fitness center and spa accommodations at the hotel were very clean and nice as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Very disappointing stay. The front office staff were not very accommodating or flexible with requests eg. Options for late check out. The room was very basic and dated. Not great as tourist accommodation. Would be more appropriate for a business stay as kitchen and laundry facilities in the room. This was the most expensive but disappointing accommodation we stayed in out of the 4 accommodations we stayed in throughout South Korea. There is a train station walking distance away which we utilised a lot as there were no shops or restaurants in walking distance around the property.

Three hotels in one property made movement to facility dining, gym, pool, spa, and casino a little confusing and time consuming. I did not like the fact that every time I went into the casino I had to show my passport, even if I had just left moments before and had to go back in to pick up something I had left behind at one of the machines. Close to mall made shopping easy. Close to train station made transportation easy.

The Grand Mercure Ambassador Hotel is a nice property with exceptional rooms, a great breakfast buffet, a good location in Seoul, and even a casino on-site for guests. We enjoyed the restaurants and the property thoroughly with the only exception of a very bad smell in one of the rooms that got worse during our stay. We informed the front desk of the issue, and they apologized, but we were checking out, so there was nothing that could be done. Strangely the hotel hallways and elevator corridors were extremely cold, with a drafty wind whipping through those areas. But ultimately, it was a very nice stay, and we would definitely return should we be in Seoul again soon.

HORRIBLE Check-in experience

A young man at the front desk for checking - in was HORRIBLE - rude, ruthless, and idiotic. From the beginning, he was reluctant to answer the questions I asked about gym, and that snobbish attitude continued throughout the check-in process. He said the hotel only provides ONE PAD for my dog throughout the whole period of stay regardless of how many days a customer stays, which does not make any sense at all. When the manager came over, he changed his word as "one per day" - a LIAR. If he stays there next time I visit this hotel, and consistently being a snob, I will be posting his photo here and on social media. They should not hire someone so rude and idiotic at FIVE STAR hotel. They also have a strange rule that one can only visit the gym ONCE per Day - the gym is not crowded at all, and don't make any sense to make such a rule. The amenities are great, but the location is very inconvenient as there is no infrastructure in the area except for iPark Mall. I mainly visited this hotel as I can stay quietly and focus on working.

Excelent hotel with easy access to Metro and Train

Wonderful stay at this hotel. It is located near Yongsan station (KTX/ITX/ Metro Line 1)with easy access through the walkway(on exit 3), hence even if the weather is bad, you will have no problem. Escalators and elevator are at the end and you can go to the Seoul Dragon city which means in fact all 3 Accor hotels and Lucky Seven casino. Ipark Mall is also accessible by exit 1 from the same Metro Station and after another 300m you will gent to Sinyongsan station (Metro line 4). Bed is very comfortable and 4 pillows were provided. Big apartment with plenty of storage options. Nice view from the windows as it was located on the 18th floor. From our windows we were able to see N tower, and from the other side I presume you can see Han River. Bathroom is big too, with shower, bathtub and WC with bidet functions. Ammenities kit is provided free of charge and replenished as needed. Towels are fluffy and robes are also available. Breakfast provided is excelent and plenty options are available for westerners and koreans: several types of bread, soups, eggs and live egg station, salami, ham, bacon, sousages, yogurts, pastry, various type of jam, honey, fresh juice (orange, apple,grapefruit), coffee machine, fruit cuts, s.o. Room is cleaned on daily basis and they are doing a very good job. Slippers are also provided. Smoking area is near by (near the entrance of Seven Luck Casino and the rest of the hotels). We will choose the same hotel next time.

As a residence hotel, my recommendation is this hotel in Seoul. Clean area because of wooden floor, good service, great parkings, and convenient location. I love this hotel.
