Was a cold night and the walls were cold in the room, the space was not enough in the bed for two people and when you touched the wall you feel the cold, also the water in the toiled keep running all the time. Location and service was excellent

In a nice area! Staff is friendly and helped us with the air conditioning as we couldn’t figure it out. Really close to the main shopping street and many food options nearby. Would definitely recommend :)

I loved the set up and location. The beds were hard but I bought a mattress cover that helped some. That’s my only complaint I loved it here.

Besides being on a hill (for luggage hauling purposes) the property was great, small, perfect for a solo traveler, it was surrounded by coffee shops, shopping central- till your heart is content. They offer laundry service and fully dry your clothes! Thank you guys at the front desk!! Pic is of a scale they have at the desk!!

The facility is old but with updated renovations. Location is perfect, convenient to subway and bus, with good restaurants. We had a situation with the toilet that couldn’t flush, but the staff are very nice giving us a new room.

Smelly and noisy - still a reasonable option

There was a strong unpleasant smell in the bathroom and the soundproofing is nonexistent. Also, if you ask them for a taxi, the only option is a pricier larger taxi and the driver's card reader is "out of battery" - probably so that he could avoid paying taxes by taking cash payment. Also, the outdoor photos are taken in a flattering way. Not false, but flattering. The laundry service worked well and the staff had good availability. The location is good if you want to stay in Myeongdong. The cable car to Namsan is right up the hill and recommended. The kbbq place nearby was ridiculously overpriced compared to restaurants elsewhere in Seoul. I would personally recommend staying in Bukchon (better vibes neaeby) or Seoul Station (for connectivity) instead. Otherwise, everything is as expected for this type of accommodation.

Location is good near myeongdong station but you have to go through the slope a little bit. There are convenient stores and marts nearby the hotel. Room is new and cozy. Bed and Blanket are new and comfortable.

スタッフさんの対応は良かったです。 口コミで日本語を話される方ががいらっしゃると見ましたが、私たちが滞在した時にはいらっしゃいませんでした。 でも、言葉が通じない中とても親切に対応していただきました。 ただ、部屋が狭すぎてトランクの開けしめに苦戦しました。 お風呂もユニットで、カーテンもなくトイレも洗面も水浸しになり、トイレも座ると目の前に壁があるほど狭く、慣れない日本人にはストレスでした。 ただ、お値段が安かったのでまぁ良かったです。

We stayed at OYO5 as our hub and traveled to other spots always coming back to regroup, shower, rest and head back to the next place. This location is perfect being close to the train station, endless food and tucked just far enough in to have peace. My only complaint would be hearing other guests come and go with their suitcases at all hours of the night. Although it was one of the rules to be quite during certain hours, I would just ask that more emphasis around respecting quite time being honored. Travel already puts strain and stress on the body and even a few hours of safe sleep is huge. Otherwise this is a great spot to have a place to crash. Keep in mind this is a humid island like country and you will get that moldy sewer smell anywhere you stay if the place is locked up too long. We were always up too early to enjoy the complimentary breakfast but it was the perfect location and the staff were very friendly.

This a hostel not a hotel. But overall Im extremely satisfied location wise excellent as it is very accessible to all tourists needs and near metro station and airport bus. Staff were so accommodating and polite.

Good location, good for short stay

Near Myeondong Station, a few convenience stores and a market nearby, room is abit old and small, bathroom was not very clean, the staff were helpful and able to communicate with English and Chinese. No laundry room, but provide charged laundry service.
