This is not a luxury accommodation. But for the amount of money is great value. Rooms are clean and neat. Bathrooms clean. There is laundry available for very inexpensive amount (about $2 per load for both washer & dryer). Arne was our staff member taking care of us and he was great: extremely polite and professional, very well mannered and educated. We had great chats and he was very enlightening about Norway and Senja Island. We met other travelers who were also very nice and like-minded (profesional and family educated people into adventures and cultural travels, who were very friendly and enjoyed conversations). The location was convenient, and perfect road trip stop between Tromsø & Lofoten Islands.

Skoghus

Matkalla koira kanssa, majoitus onnistui hienosti. Pääosin siisti paikka. Riippuu paljolti siitä ketä muita yöpyy ja huolehtii esim keittiiön siistiksi. Jos tykkää frisbeegolfista löytyy täysimittainen rata aivan talojen ympäriltä. Yhteiskäyttöön keittiöistä löytyy kaikki tarvittava. Suihkusta vesi aika kuumaa eikä sitä saa itse säädettyä. Hienolla paikalla meren äärellä ja lyhyen matkan päässä Senjan upeista nähtävyyksistä. Suosittelen ehdottomasti omatoimimatkaajille.

Hyvät maisemat ja yhteiset tilat. Keittiösä oli hyvin tiöaa ja välineitä, vain kokkauspöytätilaa olisi kaivannut lisää. Olohuone/ruokailutila oli miellyttävä. Huone oli kelvollinen, kerrossänky ja yksittäinen vuode. Wc ja suihku oli kunnoltaan vain välttävä ja rapistunut, vaatisi remonttia. Suihkupää kiinteä ja ei lämpötilasäätöä, muovimatto oli värjäytynyt. Pihalla oli yyvät grillit ja erinomainen kota. Myös frisbeegolf rata harrastajille, mutta ditä emme kokeilleet.

Kiva majoitus!

Majoitus oli hintaan nähden erinomainen ja paikka tarjosi myös hyviä lisäominaisuuksia pyykinpesun, keittiön ja yhteisten tilojen muodossa. Tontti ulottui rantaan asti ja alueella oli kiva metsäpolku ja frisbeegolf. Kylpyhuoneessa olisi kaivannut lisää tasoja ja ripustuskoukkuja - kuten melkein kaikissa muissakin hotelleissa. Positiivinen yllätys! Sijainti melko syrjässä saaren tärkeimmistä nähtävyyksistä, mutta autolla pääsee.
