“We had a fantastic experience at this traditional Japanese ryokan in Shuzenji Onsen, said to be over 400 years old. Despite its age, the facilities and rooms were spotlessly clean and well maintained. We booked two suites, each with its own private onsen, which was perfect for relaxing. “Everything! It was like a dream, the whole place was astonishing and beautiful. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and even tho we did not speak much Japanese, they were kind and patient with us and explained the amenities for us. The room itself was amazing and the views to the pond were great, and the private onsen? Really peaceful atmosphere and very private. ”

“Tu en room was absolutely stunning with the private hot tub. Don’t bother eating there though. It s a waste of your money. The shuttle was very convenient to get to the train station and visit.”
