“This is my kind of camping: desert all around, a sky full of stars, and a real bed. The tent was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was a working hot shower. Outside, we had a deck, gas grill, firepit, and places to sit. Other tents were within sight, but it still felt quiet and remote.
Conny, our host, was welcoming and helpful, and checkout went smoothly. I brought my telescope and enjoyed a clear night of astrophotography, which was a highlight of the stay.

“Big storm knocked the power out for a couple of hours. Very hot in room and the hotel manager wouldn’t answer the phone or the 24 hour after hours buzzer on his door. We had no idea if the power issue was being looked at. Would not recommend this motel”
