Wonderful and kind staff! They had a big spread for breakfast. We stayed in a room with an on suite, and it was wonderful! The small amenities of Q-tips and cotton rounds as well as washcloths! My favorite stay while in Iceland.

We stayed at Bitra for only 1 night but wish it was longer, the amenities were clean and the space was very welcoming. Morning breakfast was a hearty meal with many options and all you can eat. This place has everything you need

Lovely place, beautiful area, and wonderful hosts. They even had a disc golf setup in a cove of trees with some discs to borrow, perfect for some light practice. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely two-night stay here at the end of our trip. The atmosphere is peaceful and spa-like from the moment you walk in, with soft music playing and a request to remove your shoes at the entrance — a nice touch that adds to the calm vibe. The beds are comfortable, the towels soft, and the breakfast delicious. The only downside was the drip coffee, which was honestly the worst I’ve ever had — but thankfully, there’s also a coffee machine available, which made up for it. The shared facilities were well thought out: the ground floor has 5 or 6 showers, while the top floor offers one combined shower/restroom and a separate toilet. One thing we especially appreciated was how warm and cozy the place is — they’re definitely not stingy with the heat, so no need to worry about being cold

I wished there was an employee to check me into the location. I would have preferred a top sheet on the bed and a cooler temperature would have been nice.

We had an excellent time in this charming B&B during our stay of 7 nights. Mostly it's because of their hospitality, friendliness and amazing breakfast. I'm not a big fan of sharing bathrooms but happily give 5 stars to this B&B. Thank you Inga, the owner's sister, for looking after us so we'll. We had read some bad reviews but it was about the owner before, the ownership has changed since and the currently run by lovely people. The lounge we used had a big TV, microwave, kettle, fridge, tea&coffee and plates&cutleries for us to use, very kind. Guests are asked to take shoes off but they have slippers for us. We saw northern lights 4 nights in a row on the decking area, didn't have to go anywhere else.
