Room was as pictured, a bit dated but clean and had a full kitchen with cookware. Contactless check-in available. Free parking and WiFi. We planned on leaving early the next morning so we bought the (frozen) homemade breakfast burritos for the next morning and let them thaw overnight, they were delicious after a quick microwave.

Hotel was clean (just rundown and old) with a beautiful view. Downsides: no screen on our windows with no AC. This made it hard to cool down the room without having bugs fly in. Parking is very limited and small especially if you have a truck. Very small fishing town so there are very very very limited food resources options FYI. We ended up making our own dinner most nights on our kitchenette due to this.

I guess the price reflects supply and demand. I had a hard time finding a place to sleep on the upper peninsula for under $300. Curly's was about the cheapest, decent accommodation. The room was basic although the view was very nice (marina and Strait of Juan de Fuca). Small shower, cramped toilet area, pedestal sink, and kitchenette. The bed was warm and comfy, which is all we really needed. The icebox portion of the mini-frig was frozen over and had someone's ice bags frozen in there. On the rest of our Olympic Peninsula tour we stayed near Olympia in a stand alone log cabin for a lot less. Clean, comfy, and nice view are the highlights.

It is an older resort that has been bought by a new owner. They are working hard to upgrade. Ashley the owner did great working with us, getting in early so we could head out fishing. The front store area isn't open for business yet. I'm sure it will be eventually. It has its own dock with fish cleaning station. Will definetily stay there again.

Before you choose this property read this! This property was perfect for us and it has beautiful views. If you are not comfortable in a rustic environment do not choose to stay here. It is a rustic older property. It is clean but not brand new. I see reviews of the property written by obvious “Karen’s” because they don’t look at the pictures. They never claim to be anything other than what they are. We will 100% stay here again.
