The property is located on top of a mountain so the views are spectacular.
I would not recommend the Mesa Grill to eat even though the hotel will recommend it. A few of the cooks think that wearing masks is some kind of joke as they were not wearing them correctly to cover their mouth and nose and one of them was staring at me while I sat and waiting for my food with a smirk on her face while I sat their horrified. I think the cooks possibly resent having to wear them and are deliberately cooking horrible food. 18$ bisquits and gravy that tasted like boiled flour and water with some terrible greasy sausage and one piece of bacon which was good plopped on top of the gross gravy. Service was horrible, pancakes are like lead and tasted like baking powder and salt. All the food got comped as my date and I did not eat hardly any of it. I also saw many other customers not finishing their meals. The manager made an excuse that they get rave reviews and everyone loves their food basically telling me that I do not know anything about food and that I was wrong. I am happy to be wrong and never go back. Do not eat at Mesa Grill even if the reviews sound amazing. It is just not true and unless you have no pallete and do not care what food taste like or know the difference between amateur cooking and professional cooking. These chefs are not tasting their food and do not care about anything to do with developing flavor and making something taste amazing as it is portrayed on their menu.
